I was diagnosed with an AN at Standford in July, 2009 (1.8 cm) and had the three Cyberknife treatments in August. My hearing in my right ear was essentially non-functional and I have accepted the hearing loss. Otherwise, I was fortunate in not experiencing any dizziness nor other side effects, excepting for a very mild and occasional tinnitus. For the past two weeks however, I am experiencing a loud and continiuos tinnitus in my right ear. Will this ever go away? Is there any treatment that can lessen the tinnitus?

You might try some ibuprofen. Sometimes it helps. Tinnitus can be very annoying, but it tends to lessen over time. You might want to cal lStanford and see if they have any other suggestions. A short trial of steroids might even be warranted.
