Hi, I had my Ck follow-up. PSA 0.31. ( procedure done in November 07). Urologist said this was good reading. Six months ago the reading was 0.17. He said not to be alarmed with small increase in PSA

PSA bounce is very common and certainly no cause for alarm. I would re-check in 2-3 months or so.

Is there some point, if PSA continues to rise, that I should be concerned (e.g. 1.0, 2.0 etc?). Just what is the PSA measuring / reading at this point (i.e. Post PCa CK)/

It is highloy variable. Don't worry about it for some time.

A rise of 2 full points off the nadir PSA value may be a cause for concern, but I doubt you'll ever see that. 12 - 30 months post-treatment seems like a typically "noisy" PSA period, when we most often see the PSA bounce.

Even that kind of rise in the first few months or 1-2 years might not bother me, unless it just continued to rise.
