I just had CK three weeks ago.  I continue to experience extreme fatigue which is annoying for a Type A personality, but I'm sure it will just be temporary.  A few days ago, however, I began to lose the hair in the treated area, just above my right ear.  At this point, the bald area is about four inches in diameter and beginning to be noticeable.  If someone else has experienced this problem, perhaps you can answer my question. I wonder how long I will continue to lose hair (it seems to be slowing a bit, but that might just be that the treated area is now completely bare), and how long it will be before it begins to grow back.  I'm not particularly vain, but I teach teenagers; I want them focused on the subject, not my bald spot. The amount of loss and the length of time before re-growth would help me determine what might be the best solution to concealing the area.

This is not uncommon. It usually grows back in a few months.

I just got done with CK 3 weeks ago too. I am having a lot of hair loss. How long can I expect it to keep falling out before it quits?

It has been exactly one month since I finished my CK and have had no hair loss at treatment area though I had been warned that it could happen.  Does it have anything to do with how large the tumor is or is it just a matterof treatment plan and dosage of radiation hitting each spot?

<P>Left cavernous sinus meningioma measuring 1.7 cm by 1.4 cm by 1 cm.mild mass effect of cavernous internal carotid artery but no evidence of high grade stenosis.&nbsp; Two months later another MRI showedslight interval enlargement esp to posterior aspect.&nbsp; Symptoms of tingling left side of face and slight double vision.&nbsp; Double vision has gotten better over 2 months and tingling is worse.&nbsp; Doctors want to wait another 3 months and do another MRI.&nbsp;

It is mostly determined by the dose hitting any one spot in the scalp, but the tumor size plays a role in that, as well as tumor location

Usually regrows well if it happens.
