2 small mets to liver, is CK still an option?

My father was recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and recently began chemotherapy. The tumor in his pancreas is very large....10 cm, although he has not shown symptoms that one would expect with a tumor that size. His chemo options are apparently limited because he has kidney issues. That being said, we are desperately trying to find another avenue (although chemo has not yet been ruled out by my father's nephrologist). Any information or insight you can provide would be much appreciated. We are in the D.C. area.

That size tumor would probably be better treated with IMRT or 3-D conformal radiation rather than CK. Chemotherapy alone may be helpful also.

Thank you for your response. Are these options to discuss with my father's oncologist, or another type of doctor? Also, is there any point in treating the two small spots in the liver with CK? Thank you again.

I would have him see a radiation oncologist. I doubt that treatment of the liver would be worthwhile
