Hi sir, My mother is diagnised with pancreatic cancer stage 4. It has spread to liver and stomoch wall. we have started chemotherapy. i want to know whether i can go for cyberknife treatment after 3 cycles if the tumor shrinks? please reply as soon as possible...

I don't think CK would be helpful.. It certainly could not treat the stomach wall. Chemotherapy is the best choice.

hi sir thanks for ur reply... i will continue chemotherapy. i want to know whether chemotherapy will shrink the tumor? and can i go for cyberknife if chemotherapy shrinks the tumor?. Will chemotherpy reduce the stage of pancreatic cancer?. please reply as soon as possible

Generally speaking, chemotherapy does not result in dramatic shrinkage of pancreatic tumor, more just stabilization or small reductions. It generally does not change the stage.
