hey dr spunberg and dr medbery

over mother's day lunch with mom the other day, #3 and i were talking about the site, and someone was saying to her that there is not as much traffic on the site or something to that effect.  we would be willing at any time to come and share our experience/encourage use of the site with anyone who wants to hear it!  you guys were so important to us during our dad's journey, and still are.

hope you are both well!

peace!

About time we heard from you! I have been feeling neglected. Actually, we are trying to figure out whether there is less traffic because people are getting their questions answered in the static content or whether there is something about the site that makes it harder to use or something. Let me know what you think.

hey guys- new site is nice, i'm not a big fan of change though...

are people using the site a lot still?  just don't let anyone take it down- it was a godsend for the other daughters and me.

how has everyone been?  mom is still so sad, in a major funk.  we are all sad, but have work to keep our minds busy... and kids!  i miss my dad, it sucks, it's surreal still.

anyway, be well, check in, ok?

Which do you like better - the old site or the new? And why?

A lot less traffic here these days...is it the change in style?

I vote for the old forum.

The work flow was better on the old site.

Combined topic for doctors, patients and visitors.

Me too - What was the visibility interface of the prior site versus this one? Major difference in posting activity . . . This one seems invisible -

Having separate sections for "ask the doctor" and "patient to patient" is dumb.

Navigating this new site is a pain in the _ss!

I too vote for a return to the old one.

Thanks for your feedback on the new forum. We at Accuray are committed to improving this new system and making the user experience a positive one. To solicit some feedback on the new forum, we've put together a survey. Please take a minute to send us your thoughts on how we can improve the site.

http://www.zoomerang.com/Survey/?p=WEB229C9EARA6F

One thing to note: we are looking into ways to give the new forums more of a "community feel". Ideally, we'd like to be able to add photos for each user, editable quotes, etc. Please stay tuned as we continue to work through the details and process of making these happen.

Thanks for posting and taking the time to share your thoughts.

Would love to be able to post pictures, I don't think we can do that here.  I think you have to do that thru PMs, yes?

Drs. - In my opinion, it is the change in style.  It is less like a community bulletin board, and more like an official website.  Not as user friendly.    I did take the survey.  The old site had some challenges too, but this one is just too pretty.

I would suggest that this be entered in the Patient to Patient Section as a new topic identifying it as a request to fill out questionnaire on new forum..

I find this new format extremely difficult to navigagte and consequently, don't use it as much.

Mom's not great, but has reached out for help so that's good.  We're chalking it up to Post Traumatic Stress.  3 of the 4 sisters (minus me) are going on a "field" trip tomorrow to Foxwoods, a local casino.  I'm working in the am, taking Mom to lunch in the PM.  Good to get her out of the house.

We just got a CK in Smithtown/Commack - very exciting  It's about 2 miles from my mother's house.  The sisters and I continue to spread the word.

How are you all doing?  I always hope that our cyber-friends are doing well - healthy and happy.  Dr. M. - I am so jealous of your travels from what I see on FB...our day will come when all the kiddies are out of college.  Dr. S., you need to join FB also.  I post lots of photos.  Look for Jennifer Boone Helgans.  It's really wonderful that CK has such a great page and so many fans!

Much love - Jennifer

I don't have a lot of time for FB but it is fun to let people know what you are doing sometimes. Get Mom out as much as possible. It's good for her. Hi to all the sisters
